Brief Bio

My love for art began at an early age. My earliest memory of feeling "like an artist" is from 1st grade. Our art teacher had a still-life set up in the middle of the room and asked us to draw part of it. I drew the entire scene. The teacher allowed me to come in during recess to complete the drawing and it felt like the biggest privilege. Since then I've always found myself creating.

I enjoy being able to share my passion for art with others. It is incredibly fulfilling to help people create works they never thought they could.
Art is the perfect setting for hardwork, self expression and relaxation, and I am thrilled to be able to help you achieve your goals.

A little about me outside of work...
I am a wife and mother. I enjoy spending time with my family! We spend our days completing DIY house projects, visiting local businesses and farms and trying to get outside as much as possible! Our son has gotten us into playing Roblox and Minecraft, so that helps me (kind of) stay up-to-date with what the kids are interested in these days hahahah!

About Me FAQs

What's your favorite way to make art?
Drawing and photography are my two favorites. I honestly do enjoy all different mediums and I like to mix and explore them as often as possible.

What is your favorite age group to teach?
Hmmm, I love different aspects of teaching all age groups!
Elementary level - their passion, excitement and willingness to see themselves as artists is inspiring!
Middle school level - fine motor skills are beginning to sharpen and it's nice to see students in the early stages of being able to create realistic art
High school level - students begin to find their individual voice and their artwork takes on a deeper meaning
Adults - Teaching adults is more fun than I ever expected! When teaching school age students you must devote at least some of your energy to classroom management, but when you are with other adults you can use all of your energy for teaching and art making.
